The easiest family photos to book, and the easiest to get through with young kids. Twenty minutes, 15 edited photos, back to you within 48-72 hours.

What a mini session actually is
Twenty minutes is short. That's deliberate, and it's the whole reason these work with small children.
We'll get through three or four setups in that window — everyone together, the kids on their own, and one of just the two of you if there's time. That's enough for a holiday card, something framed, and a few for the grandparents.
It is not enough for a big extended-family shoot, and it won't produce fifty images. If that's what you're after, a full family session is the right thing to book and I'd rather tell you now than after.
How the evening runs
Four families, back to back, with the last one finishing as the sun goes down.
Your slot is twenty minutes from your start time, not from when you park. Arrive five minutes early and it's a non-issue, but the family after you is standing there, so I can't run over.
The light in that last hour does most of the work. It's why these aren't offered at noon, and why the whole evening under 2 hours.
Where we meet
Crescent Beach on Siesta Key. Beach Access 12, off Midnight Pass Road near Stickney Point.
There's a public lot right at the access, with restrooms, which matters more than it sounds when you're heading to the beach with small kids. It's small, about twenty spaces, so on a Sunday evening it can be full; there's a paid lot nearby if it is. Slots run twenty-five minutes apart, so families aren't all arriving at once.
Meet me on the sand at the end of the access walkway. Leave yourself ten minutes between parking and your start time.

What to wear
Short version: neutrals and soft colors, coordinate rather than match, and dress for sand.

Book your slot
What happens if it rains?
Florida rain usually passes in twenty minutes. A twenty-minute session doesn't have twenty minutes to spare. If the evening is washed out I move everyone to the backup date, which is booked before slots go on sale. If it's only your slot that gets hit, you get the next available one.
Can we add more people?
Up to five is the standard. Beyond that, twenty minutes stops being enough and you're better off with a full session — grandparents in from out of town is exactly what the extended-family session exists for.
What if we're running late?
Your window doesn't move. That sounds harder than it's meant to — it's just that six families are stacked with no slack between them. Text me and I'll shoot what's left of your slot.
Can we see all the photos, not just the edited ones?
The gallery has the best of what we made. I clear the blinks and the near misses before you ever see it, so everything in there is worth keeping. If you want a bigger set, a full session gives you an hour and about twenty-five images.
Do you run these year-round?
Holiday minis in the autumn, snowbird and multigenerational sessions in January, beach minis through spring. If nothing's on sale right now, the waitlist gets you told first.
Can't make this date?
Four slots go quickly. Leave your email and you'll hear about the next round before it's announced anywhere else. Two or three emails a year, only about mini sessions, nothing else.
