Most couples haven't been properly photographed together since somebody's graduation. So we spend the first fifteen minutes walking. You talk to each other, I stay back, and by the time anyone remembers there's a camera the awkward part is over. Will and Erin's session at Myakka started exactly that way, on the trail before the canopy walk, and the frames I'd actually print are all from the second half.

The payoff lands on the wedding day. You already know what I sound like. I already know which one of you hates being told where to put your hands. None of that has to get worked out while a hundred people stand around waiting.
